On Sunday 23 February 2025 a circuit service was held in Togherdoo church at 11.00 am to recognise and celebrate the achievements of Reggie Mills and “Gospelfest Goes West”. Since the first Gospelfest was staged in the Strule Arts Theatre, Omagh some nine years ago Reggie and his team have raised over £40,000, all the proceeds going year by year to an outreach project supported by the Methodist Church in Ireland’s World Mission Partnership. These have included the Container Ministry, the Surf Project, mission schools and hospitals in Africa, disaster relief in Haiti and other needy causes.

The special guest at the service in Togherdoo was Jenn Bostic, an American singer/songwriter who has brought her own distinctive style of music and ministry to Gospelfest many times.   This was an opportunity for those who were unable to attend the concert in The Strule Arts Theatre on Saturday 22 February to hear Jenn’s testimony and events on her journey of faith that have inspired her writing.  Jenn was invited three times by Rev Eleanor Hayden to participate with songs of meditation and reflection from her own extensive repertoire.  Now a familiar face on the circuit and an ever-welcome guest in our churches it is likely that there will be more opportunities to enjoy Jenn’s ministry in forthcoming Gospelfest concerts and visits to Omagh.

The Rolston Family

This was a family service well supported by families from across the circuit, among whom were the Rolston family, regular attenders in Togherdoo.
