Kyle and Betty Hawkes – 60 Golden Years
A wonderful Joint service took place in Mayne Methodist Church on Sunday 29th of December. The service which was led by Mr William Hawkes
It was also a time of joy for Kyle and Betty Hawkes as they celebrated 60 years of marriage. They were married in Trinity Presbyterian church in Omagh on the 29th December 1964. The church took this opportunity to mark this anniversary and also acknowledge their work in the church during their married life. Betty played the organ, and Kyle was society steward – both for many years. The couple were presented with gifts to mark the occasion by the Mayne Church secretary, Alison Kelly, on behalf of the congregation.
