On Friday 13, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th Drumquin Methodist Church put on a wonderful festival of Christmas Trees. The Church was beautifully decorated for the display which attracted entries from across the local community. Visitors were treated to tea and tray bakes in the marque behind the church and each evening there was music to enjoy. On Friday it was the Squeeze Box Accordion Band, On Saturday it was Drumquin Pipe Band and on Sunday entertainment was provided by a Circuit Choir led by Mrs Betty Doonan. The driving force behind this very successful event was Mrs Ethel McClelland, who organised it as a fund-raiser for the Omagh Methodist Church New Manse.
