Mayne Craft and Coffee Morning 12.04.25
Rev Eleanor Hayden with Mrs Esther Millar
On Saturday 12 April 2025 Mayne Methodist Church held a Craft and Coffee Morning in Killycurragh Hall to raise money for the church building fund. Visitors were treated to freshly baked scones with butter, jam and cream on the tables to accompany the plates of Easter biscuits. Members of congregation, including Rev Eleanor, circulated with pots of tea and coffee ensuring everyone was well refreshed. The aim, of course, was to get those attending to spend generously on the stalls – and there was much to catch the eye. Tables around the hall were laden with the best of home-made baking, jams, pots of spring flowers, colourful wreaths, handicrafts and bric-a-brac, books and toys – all of which did brisk business and rendered the enterprise a great success. Congratulations to all concerned.
