Bowling Club AGM
The Bowling Club held its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 8th April with Rev Eleanor Hayden in the Chair. Following reports from the Secretary and Treasurer, all posts were declared vacant and an election held for officers for the ensuing year. The outcome was Chairperson, Rev Elanor Hayden, Secretary, Jim McBain, Treasurer, Desmond Preston and Club Captain, Mark Orr. Mrs Carol Porter was warmly thanked for making tea for club members each evening during the year and providing refreshments for the AGM. Annually the Bowling Club makes a donation to a local Charity and this year agreed that £100.00 should be gifted to the Parkinson’s Society. The Moffitt Shield 2025 was won by Mark Orr and was presented by Rev Eleanor. The event marked the end of the season for the Club which will resume on Tuesday 9th September.
