MWI BREAKFAST
On Saturday 8th November 2025 Togherdoo Methodist Church hosted the Northwest MWI Ladies Breakfast. Mrs Alison Humphries, Vice-President of Northwest MWI was in the chair, and everyone was welcomed by Emma Fleming, Circuit Lay Pastoral Assistant. 96 ladies from across a wide area attended. It was lovely to see representatives from as far afield as Donegal, Cookstown and Enniskillen coming together with ladies from Togherdoo, Omagh and Co Fermanagh.
After a tasty and enjoyable breakfast with plenty of chat and warm friendship served across the church’s two halls, those present moved into the main body of the church. The speaker was Carolyn Donnelly from Portadown; the topic of her address “Exercise Your Faith”. Vice-President Alison played the guitar and accompanied two rousing hymns. The reading was from Ephesians 2 v 4-8. Our speaker urged us to Invest in our Faith, Practice our Faith, make it grow and mature and realize that it is an important gift – not to be hidden away but to be shared.
Our ladies left Togherdoo not only well fed but enriched and uplifted by a very successful morning.
