MWI September Meeting
The first meeting after the summer break took place on Monday 15th September. The guest speaker was the Rev Jane Nelson from 1st Omagh Presbyterian Church ably assisted by Catherine and Samantha Boyle.
The Methodist ladies enjoyed hearing about the team’s recent adventures in Malawi. Rev Jane, Samantha and Catherine picked 6 ladies in Malawi who had especially impressed him. They gave us some very interesting insights into that country and illustrated their talk with photographs of schools, health clinics and churches.
MWI ladies were very impressed by the beautiful children and what is achieved in the country where there is a lot of poverty. There was lots of chat and sharing and this happy evening ended with a lovely cup of tea. The photograph below shows some of the ladies who attended the well supported event.
