M.W.I Quiz, Peter Good Hall, Friday 9th February 2023
On Friday 10th February a table quiz was held in the Peter Good Hall as a fundraiser for Omagh Methodist M.W.I. The event was well supported with 100 persons taking part. Mrs Doreen Preston, Past President of M.W.I. arranged the evening and set the questions, which were both varied and challenging.
There was a happy sociable atmosphere in the Hall and a lovely supper was enjoyed by all present. The treasurer was pleased to receive some £500 which will be used for missionary funds. At the close of the evening Mrs Anne McBain, President of Omagh Methodist M.W.I. proposed a vote of thanks to Mrs Preston and all the other members of the association who had worked hard to prepare the Hall and provide the supper. In closing she particularly thanked all who had come out and supported the event.
