Church Fair, Saturday 28 May 2022
On Saturday 28 May a Craft Fair was held in the Peter God Hall in aid of Mayne Methodist Church. There were a dozen or so stalls offering everything from handmade bird boxes to artisan Jams and preserves. There was admiration for the artwork on stall selling handmade greetings cards and for the imagination and creativity on display on the table laid out with Diamond Jubilee souvenirs – all handmade of course. Rev Eleanor manned the bric-a-brac stall and as pleasantly surprised by how willing people were to buy items that other people had let go. The photos in the attached gallery provide a flavour of an event which raised several hundred pound for Mayne Methodist Church.
